Just as we sent the newsletters out, we forgot to mention one very important thing about the licenses.. Download license file from the downloads page, then proceed as follows:
- Rename the file to XX YY Editor.license (XX being Waldorf and YY being microQ just as an example!).
End result should look like this: Waldorf microQ Editor.license
- Make sure the file does NOT have the .key extension to it.
- Open NEW Editor data path which is:
~/Music/AURA Plugins/Name Of The Editor/ (see point 1 in the image above).
- Move or paste the license file in the Editor folder (see point 2 in the image above).
- On macOS you can view the file extension by clicking cmd+i and change the file name there. (see point 3 in the image above).
We are sorry we forgot to add this information to the email just sent. Some of you already hopped over to our Discord which is by far the fastest way to reach us. Anyway, re-download the license file (if needed) and follow the instructions. |
