Waldorf Pulse 2 Editor Intro
Waldorf Pulse 2 Editor & Librarian is designed to control your Waldorf Pulse 2 right from your DAW. With our Editor, you can work with your Waldorf Pulse 2 by the same way you use your virtual instrument plug-ins. Our Editor will recall your patch settings when you open your project and the data will be sent to your Pulse 2 automatically once you open your project. Your synthesizer is always synchronized with your session! The only thing you need to worry, is that you power-up your synthesizer. We also added the ability to load in & import Waldorf Pulse patches!

Realistic Bi-directional Graphical User Interface
Our graphical user interface design has been made to make everything from sound design to patch editing as smooth as possible. When you move a slider, push a button or twist a knob in your hardware, software will respond to it.
Use sections locks with Randomizer function to create complex sounds while keeping the best settings untouched.
Save time, as all the edits are stored within the project, so once the project is opened up again, Total Recall will send the data to hardware automatically.
Patch data management
Waldorf Pulse 2 Editor comes with ability to control almost all Waldorf Pulse 2 parameters from the Editor.
You can send patches from Librarian Browser to your Pulse 2. Double click a patch on the librarian to send the patch. Simple as that!
Librarian offers more edit options too, so be sure to check out the user manual for further instructions.
Waldorf Pulse 2 Editor and Automation
With FULL version of Waldorf Pulse 2 Editor & Librarian, you can automate almost every parameter right from your DAW without having to remember all of the MIDI CC’s.This can be done easily by setting your DAW automation to Write or Latch mode and then turning the knob from the hardware or the plug-in.
Some of the SysEx parameters are not available due to a lot bandwidth taken from the MIDI cable.

What you CAN do with our Editor:
- Control your Waldorf Pulse 2 hardware synthesizer directly from your DAW.
- Edit almost every parameter of your synthesizer from single Pulse 2 editor instance.
- We added a bit more than 200 parameters to the plugin, so the sound editing should be painless and quick task.
- Automate almost every CC parameter in your DAW.
- Easier to handle automations than trying to remember hundreds of #CC’s.
- Adjust levels, panning and such from the plugin.
- Parameters that are available for automation will be listed on your DAW. (Ableton Live and other DAWs sees our parameters, when parameter is touched).
- Total Recall of the sounds used up on project reload.
- All of the current parameters from the Editor will be sent to the hardware memory buffer up on project reload!
Time saver when thinking about storing, naming and loading data from multiple hardwares per project. - Editor reacts to hardware knob movements and displays knob, menu and button values within the Editor display.
- Store Entire Bank to your Pulse 2 from the librarian.
- Store patches to your Pulse 2 from the librarian.
- Request entire bank from your Pulse 2 to the librarian.
- Request patches from your Pulse 2 to the librarian.
- Store requested or modified bank data to your own library (on your HDD).
- View & edit patch name in Editor interface.
- View & edit category name in Editor interface.
- Select next or previous librarian patch from hardware.
- Select next or previous hardware patch from librarian.
- Move patches from one bank to another and save as you like.
- You can send patches from the Editor to your synthesizers Temp memory buffer OR you can write user memory slots through our Editor.
- Download and import all of the Pulse 2 / Pulse+ / Pulse series soundsets in one folder for quick access through the Editor.
- Import Single patches (Pulse 2 / Pulse 1) into the Librarian.
- Each patch can have its name and category set.
What our Editor can NOT do:
- Transmit any audio. You have to plug your Synthesizers audio jacks into your mixer in order to hear the sound.
- You can not remotely start and / or shut down your Synthesizer.
Operating system specified settings / limits:
Windows limitations
Since Windows platform CAN NOT share resources between applications, it is important that you disable the MIDI input and output from your DAWs settings which you are intending to use with our Editor. If you leave the port open, our Editor will see it and once you click to use it, it might crash your DAW and you will lose your data. Link down below!
macOS limitations
macOS works “out from the box” with resource sharing, you are good to go once you insert the plugin into your DAW. However, our plugin can cause you a MIDI loop if you leave the port open / unfiltered from your hardware to your DAW. You can set various filters in your DAW.
Requirements:
- Waldorf Pulse 2 hardware synth (2nd generation).
Waldorf Pulse 2 - MIDI interface (cheap interfaces will not work due to limited support of SysEx capabilities) OR direct USB connection.
- macOS 10.12 or later with AAX, AudioUnit, VST2 or VST3 host (Universal Binary 2).
- macOS 10.12 or later for Standalone Application (Universal Binary 2).
- Windows 7 or later with VST2, VST3 or AAX compliant host.
- Windows 7 or later for Standalone Application.
- at least HD resolution on your display recommended.

A 'must have' for every Pulse 2 owner. Easy to set up and a great user interface.
Sorry but I returned the unit to the retailer as the synth didn't meet my expectations. I did try the VST as standalone was unavailable, and was able to do much of what I expected it to do. I've de-installed it from my PC now and would love a refund if possible, as now I can never use it.
It is a great tool to control pulse 2 features.

Only just got it, but as far as it goes, this s..t is the bomb! Couldn’t really get my newly 2hand purchased pulse 2, to interact the way I wanted itcto, with my Lord lead 2x , virus TI polar, and digitakt. But now it seems like it all ads up, the way it’s supposed to!

This is a great bit of software which really adds to the function of Pulse 2. Whilst I like the matrix & menu interface its not as adept as the one of the Blofeld, so its excellent in that respect. I’m still in the process of learning how to use it so I dont’t have any comments on issues that need fixing.

it is a good software which makes pulse editing easier. Pulse is a compact and a powerful synth. But because of its compactness, sometimes it’s hard to visualize the settings. Certainly, this editing software helps to see all the setting at a glance and makes sound editing more intuitive.

This is quite frustrating, one minute it is there to download then it’s not…. Please just let me know when it is released for sure. Your site is bloated with advert portals and who has just bought what and when from where. Quite infuriating and my time being wasted logging in etc, options for email login should always be there, rather than mixing it up with only user name. I just hope you get it sorted as twice over 2 weeks you have sent me pulse2 related emails to no avail….

It’s a shame…. I pre ordered the Waldorf Pulse 2 editor library on the end of february. I received a mail and dowloaded the licence but NO Software on my account. I send 4 mails to explain. No response
It a shame. Still waiting for the software i paid
I already bought editor for my Virus and my SuperNova without any problem
What’s the matter guys ????
