The main reasons why I'm satisfied: 1) The MicroKxR lets me get a lot more out of my synth than the synth itself 2) It has turned the microKorg into a surprisingly easy synth to program 3) So far, I've only experienced minor glitches that I can live with should they never be fixed 4) I'm not experiencing the ongoing horrible feedback issue that's plaguing the SN2X (as of this writing) I definitely recommend buying it, but be sure to try it out extensively before you purchase it: overall, I found the setup instructions for the plug-ins to be incomplete and lacking in clarity and the technical support is non-existent despite its claim for calls to be answered within 48 hours (as of this writing). Nonetheless, it made me want to bring the microKorg back into my rig.

Very disappointed, as I was genuinely excited by the prospect of finally getting to use my Supernova 2 to its full potential. There is ear-deafening feedback when playing any every single patch in performance mode. Until this is fixed, the plug-in is worthless. I've tested it through and the feedback is created by the software, I'm 100% positive. I have no idea how that happened, nor how to fix it or, at the very least, how to avoid it. Based on the research I did after noticing this issue, some of the reviews/online comments I read lend me to believe this has been a known issue for a while, yet I haven't seen/read anything anywhere from the developer explaining how to deal with it or, at the very least, publicly acknowledge it. The Virus HC or JP-80x0, which I also purchased, do have small glitches, but nothing like that! And I'm glad I got these! Don't get me wrong: the guy has found a niche and I truly wish him the best, considering all the hard work and late hours he must've put in and the obstacles he must've had to overcome. And the price is very reasonable! I felt he deserved my money and almost felt like I was robbing him by buying the plug-ins at 30% off. This guy is passionate about his work. But from a user experience point of view, this just is unacceptable (we're not talking about minor glitches here!) By the way, I contacted support (and sales) and haven't heard anything back; we're well past the promised 48 hours reply time as of this writing. I only want to be able to enjoy the software, come back here and edit my review to give the plug-in the 5-star review it most surely deserves (deep down).

Software only partially works. Per the instructions, I set the synth settings correctly and made sure to adjust my daw and vst settings accordingly as well. When I try to download patches from the synth, a connection can't be made, and when I try to upload patches to the synth, I get a success message accompanied with a ‚Äútmp‚' message on my synth. When trying to play the uploaded patch, i hear a generic muted initial patch, which isn't the patch i tired to upload. I can control that my midi cabling and interfaces are of good quality and functional. I can also confirm that the unit can control and be controlled via other VSTs with no issues. It would be nice if there are more instructions on how to troubleshoot the issue that come with the software.

Difficult interface for patch management, but functional after a while. Randomise function too fiddly, should be able to randomise osc/filter/envs as a sub option, but can only randomise the whole patch or have to go through difficult locking/unlocking on parts of a patch. The matrix dropdown is unordered and doesn't scroll with mouse wheel. Wish there was an online resource site for users to share patches created via the editor.

I am unable to get the patches I have bought to play through the hardware. I have emailed a few times and heard nothing back. I can appreciate it is Xmas and I am willing to change my rating if someone can help. I am very keen to get this working.

I wish you a happy new year, and that corona returns to be a beer! I can't hear my Virus, if I follow your recommendations, meaning to deactivate the Midi Ports, connected to the Virus. The Midi activity shows both on your Plugin and on the virus, but I don't get sound. If I activate at least the Midi-Out, I can hear the Virus, but only in Single Mode. But first of all, the virus editor does not reload the last used sounds and, even worse, the Cubase song does not load, but crashes (The moment, the mixer in Cubase tries to load all the plugins, Cubase simply freezes) I use Cubase 5.1 under Win7-64 Professional and a RME Fireface. on a HP Elitebook with 16GB Ram. I use also the Korg X-50 with a VST Editor plugin, and it works totally smooth. I tried to send you this as a chat on your website, but I never got a reply. Hope you can help or fix it soon. Otherwise I'd rather return the software Cheers Rishi

midi configuration hard, almost impossible to set up. Very difficult to integrate in existing set up no clear and easy video tutorial (really need somes)

Only just got it, but as far as it goes, this s..t is the bomb! Couldn't really get my newly 2hand purchased pulse 2, to interact the way I wanted itcto, with my Lord lead 2x , virus TI polar, and digitakt. But now it seems like it all ads up, the way it's supposed to!
