I hesitated to buy the software for quite a while and tried my luck with all sorts of other programs. None were truly functional and satisfying, so I finally caved in. Thanks to the Mystery Islands editor, my Virus A now moved back to the main desk! It is finally deeply integrated into Ableton Live. The editor works like a charm, is loaded with awesome patches and makes my old synth worth its money. Awesome product!

Some  sweet  sounds  in  here!  Been  using  a  bunch  of  the  plucks  and  leads  and  acid  sounds  in  new  tunes  -  and  they  sound  AWESOME.  Def  a  solid  bank  for  trance  and  ambient  artists

If you are lucky enough to have a JP8080/8000 in your studio then you are going to want this plugin.Jani is a genius and the development of this incredible product has resulted in me dusting down my old hardware and using it in a new way. It is a delight to be able to use my JP8080 with my new setup in such a seamless manner. Since returning to music production again I have mainly used VST instruments (Whereas before it was 90% hardware) but the work flow with this plugin is inspiring and just love tweaking some of the old patches I created back in 2004/5 in a different way. The soundbanks available on the Mystery Islands store are also fantastic and I highly recommend anyone that has a JP8080 / 8000 skips a few morning coffees and invests in all the banks (especially if you like that nostalgic trance tones!) - Dave Dowsett aka 'Factoria'

This plugin is a nice wat to control my Roland JP 8080 in my DAW. The librarian is so good to use and will safe me time in my workflow and cost me less money to buy an memorycard, cost around €50..You have to get used to this plugin but if you have mastered it very easy to use.I would suggest this plugin to every one who ownes a JP 8080!

really well working; together with my fixed audio + midi routing in my daw template, this software really makes my Microkorg feel like a native Plugin, but with the advantages of direct hardware control!

Everyone should know M.I.K.E., Push, or any of the countless nicks that he has used during the years. Regardless, he has created a very distinctive sound with his songs such as Silver Bath, Universal Nation, Live Another Life, etc. The common denominators are; dark, melancholic, deep, noisy and a little bit of dirtyness. The sounds in this soundset contains a good collection of these sounds with the above mentioned characteristics. Most sounds are basses, lead / arp and pads,- which is what you want. The sounds are not 'big' and magnificent in itself (as factory 'brag' patches can be) but they are well defined and sits nicely in the mix. Besides that, the sounds keep the classic MIKE/Push characteristics. If that is what you are after then look no further and get yourself this Soundset.

It's not perfect, even with the latest update i have some crash, but overall it's really made with passion, look nice and the most important, it add fluidity to the manipulation of the Synth.
