Virus Editor v26.09.23 Upgrade
Access Virus Editor has been updated to version 26.09.23 – or more like Upgrade!
This version ships with HUGE performance boost which makes the Editor initialize and reopen much faster. We added new “mini displays” in the Editor where they’re worthy. For example, you can view Ocsillator shapes, while Shape Mix knob changes the waveform display. Same applies to Pulse Width too.
Filter shapes are added and envelope windows too. Below is a screenshot of the Virus TI Wavetables waterfall view, which was never shown before! This was exciting addition and we were enjoying the Wavetable usage for the first time ever!
On top of that, you get a clean view of all the Spectral waves and Wavetables when you click the little arrow below the “mini display”.
LFO waveforms have displays too and you can view the waveform shape changes when using phase & contour knobs. See image below.
Even the FX page has displays added to it, where you can view Phaser stages, Chorus Waveform with feedback amount and Delay Modulation waveforms.
And finally the Effects 2 page, where we have added “mini displays” for Filter Banks showing the Filter slopes and various filter types. (Virus TI and Snow).

To get to this point, it took 9 months of work, over 100,000 lines of code, but we can finally say that we are tracking ZERO issues. If you bought the Editor before 2026 a small and reasonable upgrade offer is waiting for you in the downloads page (after login).
